Walker Family Beach Trip

Josie LOVED all the attention during the Walker family beach trip. Aunt Cholly's shades were perfect!
Aunt Dolly's Blowpop was tasty!

Living the life - Josie played in her own personal pool under the tent! The gang filled the bottom of the boat up with water (and John added a few fish) so Josie could play all day! We started off with the big boat and downsized! It was a life saver for me and Josie had a ball. It doesn't get much better than sitting on the beach in the shade surrounded by family!

Few More Beach

Josie really enjoyed Hannah John and Eliza!

Cole is such a sweetheart!!! He said that he needed to hold her hand cause she was in the water and might get scared!

Big Girl!

Hard to believe she is so big! Walking everywhere, into everything and so curious. Josie loves for you to read to her but seems to enjoy "reading" to herself just as much. I enjoy every moment with her - even the tear filled ones. She has 6 teeth now (four top and two bottom) and knows how to use them! She is about 25 pounds and 34 inches or so. Josie is up at 6 AM and Kevin goes and gets her our of her bed. Each morning Pop comes over around 6:15 and cooks us breakfast, Kevin leaves for work by 6:30 and Grandma comes in around 8:00. With a big hug, kiss and "Bye-Bye MaMa" I leave her to go to work. Josie LOVES Grandma and Pop. She whispers "Pop" - she will NOT say it loud - it is so cute. She wakes up saying "DaDa, Mama, Pop" It is the best alarm clock! She has all of us wrapped around her little finger!

What Icecream?

Josie's first taste of chocolate ice cream!

It's A Party!

Andrew turned the ONE! It was so fun to see the little ones play together!
Josie's new best friend!
Janay's sister Stephanie and Josie make the perfect pair - Steph likes the icing and Josie likes the cake!

Another Set of Footprints

We hope to have another set of footprints to add next year! Kevin, Josie and I are excited to announce that we are expecting a baby January4, 2008!

Wedding Day Memories

Just six short years ago Kevin and I stood on this beach and vowed forever! Our wedding day was the first step toward "our" family and being able to see your little girl's toes in the same sand was very special to me. Sharing Kiawah with her will be a precious memory!

When Kevin and I were exchanging vows I drew a heart in the sand with my toe and he added the arrow - this time we had a cute set of toes to fill in the rest!

This is the pool Kevin and I jumped in after the ceremony - and yes, he acted like he was going to do it again!

Kiawah

The Walker-Gill Gang headed to Kiawah for some much needed family time! I still can't believe we all actually made it. Mom, Dad, JF, Josie and I went down on Thurs and Kevin drove down on Fri (in record time). AND we got everyone in the picture - except Randy and Lucas who were both down for a nap.

Josie fit right in and loved every minute of the nonstop attention. Before we went to Kiawah she was taking a few steps and when we came home - it is official, she is walking! Watching her be surrounded by our family was so special for me! It wasn't long ago that I was the "little one" and Thold, Leslie and Randy watched me grow (really it wasn't that long ago). Now I know Josie will grow under the watchful, loving eyes of this generation!

We all LOVE the pool -especially Kevin. Josie wanted to get in from the moment she saw it - I am not sure if she thought it was a big tub or wanted the floats - either way, she was happy!

Walking on the beach!

Grandma's lap is the perfect place for a little rest between waves!

Shoes Anyone - I Mean, EVERYONE?!

What was to be a simple trip to Richmond to buy Josie's first "real" shoes turned out to be a mini family reunion! Mom, Josie and I had a great surprise when Courtney, Ginny, Chad and the gang all walked into the children's shoe store. This isn't the first time Courtney and I ran into each other in Richmond shopping (which is strange since we don't live there). Great minds think alike, Courtney's son Hayden (far left) was getting his first pair of shoes too! (pictured Hayden, Parker, Josie, Logan, Cooper and Barrett) It was fun to see everyone

Happy Birthday Logan!

Josie and I enjoyed Logan's 2nd birthday party! Logan wasn't so sure about the "girl" hanging all over him and really didn't like it when Melissa held her, but all-in-all it was a great day!

Hey there cutie!

Hard to believe that we are "Mom's" now! I hope someday Josie has a friend as great as Melissa!

Buggin' Out
Josie enjoyed taking a spin in Logan's hot rod! (the glasses were for our entertainment!)

10 K

Josie and Kevin cheered me one - ok so Josie slept during most of the race - but was bright-eyed for the finish. John and Lori even showed their support! I ran (yes, ran) the entire 10K! Yeah ME!

We stayed at the Jefferson Hotel the night before and really enjoyed some "down time."
