Josie went to the see Dr. Fleshood today! This is her second chiropractic adjustment (first one she was about 3 weeks old)-and she still likes him! Don't let the metal instrument scare you - it is NOT a needle!

Sunday was a busy day! We all attended Avery, Angie & Eliza's birthday party at Richard's house and then we went to Emporia to Pooles Fox Pen for Kevin's foxhounds three day field trial awards. All dressed in her camo that her Dad bought her Josie was ready for the hunt! And guess what - Dad's dog won!!!

Seven Months

OK - I admit, I am LATE on the seven month update - but I took these pictures to use for Kevin's Dad's birthday and didn't want him to see them before....so anyway - she's a big girl!!! Weighing in at 22 pounds and30 inches long, Josie is all Walker! We are having so much fun! She is trying to walk and really not interested in crawling - she is doing the"rocking" but has only actually moved once. She is pulling up on everything and gets MAD when she wants to stand and can't. She is running in her walker and LOVES it! She follows us everywhere (except on the carpet)! She has two teeth and knows how to use them! Food is her friend - she will eat anything and is beginning to use a sippy cup - sorta! The pacifier has gotten better and worse all at the same time - she doesn't want it during the day but naps and bedtime she now has three....one in each hand and one in her mouth. She says Dadadadadada all them time and will throw a Mama in there every now-and-then. She is beginning to wave and say (what we are convinced) bye-bye. She hugs and snuggles up and loves to pull hair! She is full of personality. Everyday there is something new and fun! It is going by so fast - and we are loving every moment!

Birthday Lunch for Elsie

Josie attended Elsie Well's 92nd (I think) birthday party on Feb 20th and got to meet Mark and Jenny Warren's little man Tucker - he's a cutie!!!

The next generation of Gill girls - Emma Thomas (Leslie's daughter) was at the party too!!!

We had a full house Feb 17th! The Gill's from Charlotte came up for a visit. Thold and Ruth Ellen's girls Laura, Catherine, and Caroline are so much fun! Josie was the center of attention and enjoyed every moment. She was in someone arms all weekend. I have watched these girls grow up over the years and now they will watch my daughter grow. I was Caroline's age when SHE was born and now she is holding my little girl! I am so glad Josie will have these beautiful, strong, Gill girls to look up to!

Josie held on to Laura all weekend - they were fast friends!













Catherine is the perfect size to help Josie learn how to walk! Cat was so patient with Josie!

Hite Boys

Haynie and Jennifer Lee Hite and their three boys spent the weekend with us Feb-2nd-4th...it was so fun to have all of them with us! (picture Ridley, Josie, Issac, Maben)

Thanks to the boys, Josie learned how to turn over and over and over during the weekend! Her teeth broke through that weekend too,though I don't think that has anything to to the boys.

Riley and Josie hit it off a little too well (haha) Sunday morning, I got Josie and brought her in our room and put her in the bed with Kevin while I got in the shower. Riley ran in our room, and sneaked on my side of the bed and

said, "Hey, Kevin, where's the girl?"
