Good Day

She is snuggled into the chair with her Dad - what you don't see in this photo is that he is sleeping too!

She loves this farm themed gym! I have to do a video of her "mooing" along with the cow!

Finally Mom gets a little tick time!

Soooo Big!

Happy 2 month B-day!
Each month I am going to try to take a picture of Josie with her bear so you can see how big she is getting.

Speaking of how big she is - we went to the doctor for her 2 month shots (very traumatic for me) - she is now 24 inches and 12 pounds! According to the doc she is off the charts for height but on target for weight.

Texas Bored 'Em

We had a group of buddies over for a little Texas Hold 'Em and Josie slept through the whole thing! And I should mention that it wasn't a quiet crowd. (As a side note - I split the pot with CW AND really did use the money to buy Josie new shoes! Also notice the blonde fella in the red shirt in the background taking out the trash - he lost his seat at the table early on)

Ohhh, That Little Laugh

I love to hear her laugh!

Day of Rest

Thought you might enjoy seeing Josie all dressed up for church!

See little girls do look cute in blue!

This dress was her cousin Emma's -
I love the little booties!

And of course every Sunday Josie enjoys extra "Tick Time" with Daddy. (Kevin teases me about being a his "Tick" cause I require a great deal of snuggling from him - now we call Josie his "Seed Tick")

It's Friday!

Yippieeee! Friday was lots of fun!

John, Lori and Haynie joined us for dinner and some Josie time. We had a few other visitors too- Jamie and Elizabeth stopped by and so did Sherwood and Janice (no photo- opps).

Ahhhhhh, thanks for the snuggle time Lori!

There's one person you can't see in this photo - Jamie and Elizabeth are expecting a little one in December!
And of course we must mention Haynie and Jennifer Lee are due in December, too!

Meeting My Cousin Hayden

Boy (and Girl) - we look like trouble!

My cuz Hayden (Courtney Gill Hodges not-so-little boy) came to see us on Aug 26th. We spent the afternoon telling new Mom stories and holding babies! SOOO much fun. Josie is blessed with FOUR new baby boy cousins! Wonder if growing up with all those boys will make her tough or will they spoil her too?

Ready To Go Work With Mommy

Big Day - went to work with Mom and stole the show! Note to self: Can not get any work done with her at the office - the entire office (all three of us) shut down! I think it had something to do with the hat! Josie loves John and Amanda - and I think they enjoy spoiling her! She is so much fun.

Here's the Skinny

Here's the latest info on Miss Josie - she is 7 weeks old (which means we are getting very close to her first shots) and growing so fast. Not sure of the exact measurements but she is over 10 lbs and at least 23 inches long! Her once jet black hair is now fading to a light brown and the "new" growth is mighty blonde. There is much debate on what her final eye color will be - but as of now I am betting on blue (like her Daddy).
She is a happy little girl! Lot of smiles and tons of little noises that make me smile. She wakes up once during the night for a "refill" and she goes right back to sleep with no problems. She wakes up happy (unless I miss her first warning) and catches a little nap before lunch and a long one after lunch. When her Daddy gets home she celebrates with another little nap on his chest. Dinner and a bath and to bed she goes.....is there really anything better than watching a little child sleep?
Josie spent the night with her Grandma, Granddaddy and Uncle JF for the first time so that Kevin and I could celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We are pleased to report that she followed her schedule and only woke Grandma up one time during the night for a snack.
All is well in the Walker home. Kevin said it best "we didn't even know we were missing anything until she arrived." A miracle - a blessing - our little girl.
Josie is growing so fast! I love to see that smile and thought you might enjoy it too!
